I have bunch of Menu Bar icons, mostly for work-related apps that run in the background, and to which I need quick access.

I can tuck away all but the most essential icons, and hide things that I dont need up there because theyre accessible via keystrokes (Spotlight, Notifications).

Ive tried similar apps, but Bartender has the best UIUX by far.

Having said that, occasionally icons get rearranged, and getting them to stay put isnt as easy as it should be.

But thats the only reason Im docking it a star.

Dont care what they say, they shouldnt be recording the screen.

Hope they fix this and keep their screen recording an option for those who dont care about privacy.

October 2019 Version: 3.1.7 I love the app, paid for v2 and got v3 as a free update.

Now with the Catalina update, Bartender needs Screen Recording Permission.

I know the developer says it is really not recording the screen.

I kept coming back to Bartender for stability, ease of setup, and the fact that Ive yet to have to wait for updates to work on an OS update.
